Consumers are partners to the company - eLife's concept of Partner Relationship Management (PRM)

eLifeThe second marketing column of eLife, "Basic Concepts of : What is PRM?" is now available.

A "partner" is someone with whom we collaborate to achieve the same goal. For example, other corporate entities with which we collaborate in business operations, and freelancers with whom we work on a project-by-project basis are important "partners" to us. Taking it a step further, we believe that consumers are also partners for companies.
In this issue, our CMO, Maki Sugiyama, explains the concept of PRM (Partner Relationship Management) that eLife advocates. Please read on.
