Background and Purpose of Community Establishment

Establishing the healthy habits required for Sumitomo Life’s health-promotion insurance program “Vitality” presents a “barrier to continuity”—a challenge that individuals often struggle to overcome on their own. Against this backdrop, we launched the “Vitality Club” as a space where members can share their health-related concerns and tips, evolving the program from a “go-it-alone” approach to a “collective effort.”

This initiative represents a pioneering example of fostering connections among users—a concept still rare in the insurance industry. Open to anyone interested in health and wellness, particularly Vitality members, the club aims to maximize the well-being of each customer by swiftly incorporating member feedback into service improvements.
