eLife Inc., which supports interactive marketing through dialogue between customers and companies, has conducted an emergency survey on consumer awareness of data privacy in preparation for the May 25 implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which protects personal information more strictly in the EU, triggered by the Facebook personal data misuse incident, in April and In May, we conducted an emergency survey on consumer awareness data privacy with which companies interact, and received responses from approximately 2,000 people.

Therefore, eLifeis pleased to announce that, based on the results of these surveys, we have compiled a set of recommendations for digital marketing activities for companies that handle consumer digital data in Japan.
