Summary

In May 2014, we opened "IDEA PARK" at Kurashi-no-Ryohin Kenkyujo to further strengthen the system of connecting user feedback to product development. Users are asked to post their opinions and wishes for products, and the collected opinions are discussed at weekly internal meetings, and in reply to requests, the status behind product development and release schedules are all made public. Now they also conduct product development projects with core fans.
In addition, based on the basic philosophy of product development, "manufacturing from the viewpoint of consumers," projects such as the "IDEA PARK Project: From Room to Living Space - Entranceway" were launched and surveys were conducted. The results of the surveys are made public, and users are also offered ideas for small innovations and ideas that can be realized through feasible "partial remodeling.
